All the areas we service, on one page.

Type your city and the map filters live. Every community card links to its own local page with neighborhood-level detail. If you are between two cities, you are covered — the areas we service are drawn around drive time from Escondido, not hard borders.

The map

Every community. One map. Tap any marker.

All 71 communities in the areas we service, plus the Escondido headquarters the trucks roll from. Every gold marker opens that community’s own page.

No marker on your street? Edge addresses in the areas we service are decided by drive time — call and we will tell you straight.

How coverage works

One headquarters, three counties, zero phone guesses.

Every job in the areas we service starts the same way: a technician physically enters the attic or crawl space, photographs everything, and builds a written scope at your kitchen table. We are a family-operated crew headquartered at 632 Rock Springs Rd in Escondido, holding C-2 and B classifications under CSLB #1138021 — which means the license on the paperwork matches the people in your attic, whether that attic is in a beach city or an inland valley.

Distance never changes the doctrine. The same 1/8-inch steel mesh goes into every rodent proofing scope, sealants ride with the steel — never foam alone — and the same free inspection photos land on your screen before any work is proposed across all the areas we service. What distance does change is the building science: coastal communities fight marine moisture, inland valleys fight heat, and the sections below say which is which.

One more thing coverage means here: accountability you can check. The license number on every document resolves to the state record, the reviews resolve to real profiles, and the before-and-after photographs from your own job stay yours whether or not you hire us. Coverage is not a radius on a marketing map — it is every place we are willing to put that standard in writing.

Areas we service

San Diego County

The heart of the areas we service — from the coast at La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Encinitas through the central neighborhoods to the inland valleys of Escondido, El Cajon, and Ramona. Coastal homes here lean on vapor barriers and marine-grade sealing; inland attics lean on insulation depth, attic fans, and sealed ducts. Every one of these communities has its own page.

From the beach communities to the backcountry, San Diego County spans multiple Title 24 climate zones — which means the right insulation target in Imperial Beach is not the right target in Ramona. That is why every scope starts with an inspection instead of a spreadsheet: the house, its micro-climate, and its history decide the work. Tap any community card for street-level detail, or use the map above to find your marker.

San Diego

From pre-war Craftsman homes to new towers, the city spans every insulation era — scopes follow the house, not a formula.

Balboa Park

Historic early-1900s homes ring the park; original attics here often carry decades-old insulation and open, unscreened vents.

Clairemont

Classic 1950s–60s postwar tracts — original insulation is long past its service life and due for removal and re-insulation.

Hillcrest

Older urban housing stock where knob-era attics, additions, and remodels meet; air sealing recovers what decades of work left open.

La Jolla

Coastal bluffs in the marine layer — salt-heavy air drives vapor control and corrosion-resistant steel exclusion.

Mira Mesa

1970s–80s tract homes with builder-minimum insulation; topping to R-38–R-49 transforms summer comfort.

Ocean Beach

Early beach cottages take marine moisture year-round; crawl space vapor barriers and sealed vents do the heavy lifting.

Pacific Beach

Beach-block homes in constant salt air — moisture management first, then insulation depth.

Point Loma

Marine exposure on three sides of the peninsula; scopes lead with vapor barriers and rust-resistant screening.

Rancho Bernardo

1960s–70s planned community whose original attic systems are aging out together — inspection tells each home’s truth.

University City

1960s-era homes near UCSD plus newer complexes; duct condition and insulation depth decide comfort here.

Chula Vista

Older west-side homes and new east-side builds — two different scopes in one city, both photo-documented.

Eastlake

1990s–2000s master-planned homes where builder-grade insulation and flexible ducting are reaching replacement age.

Otay Ranch

Newer construction — scopes here focus on duct integrity, attic ventilation, and sealing before problems start.

Rolling Hills Ranch

Newer master-planned homes backing to open space; preventive steel exclusion beats first-infestation cleanup.

Escondido

Our headquarters city — hot inland valleys, Victorian-era downtown blocks to ranch homes, all inside same-week response.

Hidden Meadows

Rural hillside community north of Escondido; open country means year-round rodent pressure on attics and crawl spaces.

Valley Center

Acreage and groves bring wildlife to every structure — exclusion in steel is the standing prescription.

Oceanside

Salt air on the beach blocks, hot valley tracts inland — the inspection decides which climate your scope fights.

Leucadia

Vintage beach cottages under the marine layer; crawl space moisture and aged insulation are the recurring findings.

Carlsbad

Village-era coastal homes and newer inland neighborhoods split between moisture control and heat control.

Bressi Ranch

2000s master-planned homes — duct sealing and ventilation tune-ups keep newer systems performing to spec.

El Cajon

One of the county’s hottest valleys; midcentury homes here need full insulation depth and working ventilation most.

Bostonia

Older unincorporated blocks with vintage attics — removal, sanitization, and re-insulation are common full scopes.

Fletcher Hills

Midcentury hillside homes above the heat of the valley floor; aging insulation and duct runs drive most scopes.

Lakeside

Semi-rural properties in serious summer heat — insulation depth plus steel exclusion for the field-rodent pressure.

Bonsall

Rolling grove country where rural rodent pressure meets custom homes; exclusion and crawl space work lead.

Rancho Penasquitos

1970s–80s tracts with original builder insulation — prime candidates for top-offs to modern targets.

Vista

Hill-and-valley microclimates in one zip code; the inspection reads each attic before the scope is written.

San Marcos

Our neighbor city — fast growth left every housing era side by side, from originals due for removal to new builds due for sealing.

Rancho Santa Fe

Estate lots under mature trees — classic roof-rat highways; large custom attics get steel exclusion point by point.

Lake San Marcos

1960s–70s lakeside homes, many with original attic systems now decades past their intended life.

Encinitas

Coastal cottages to custom hillside homes, all under marine influence — moisture first, insulation second.

Cardiff-by-the-Sea

Beachside blocks in daily marine air; vapor barriers and sealed crawl spaces protect the wood that holds the house up.

Poway

“The City in the Country” — ranch properties and open land keep rodent exclusion permanently relevant.

National City

Some of the county’s oldest housing stock; vintage attics often need the full remove-sanitize-reinsulate sequence.

Miramar

1970s–80s homes near the air station — insulation depth and duct sealing carry the comfort load.

Allied Gardens

A 1950s tract neighborhood whose original insulation has served three times its design life.

Imperial Beach

The county’s southernmost beach town — salt air and crawl space moisture set the scope.

Solana Beach

Coastal bluff homes in the marine layer; corrosion-resistant materials and vapor control are standard here.

Del Mar

Village homes in daily marine air — under-floor moisture and aged insulation are the usual findings.

North Beach

Oceanside’s beach blocks — maximum salt exposure, so screening and sealing get marine-grade materials.

Otay Mesa

Newer South Bay development where preventive sealing and duct checks keep young systems young.

Santee

Hot East County valley of 1970s–80s tracts — full-depth insulation and real ventilation pay off fast.

La Mesa

Early-1900s and midcentury hillside homes; older attics here mix eras of insulation that inspection sorts out.

Lemon Grove

Compact midcentury homes where a one-day top-off often closes the gap to modern insulation targets.

Rainbow

Nursery and grove country on the Riverside line — rural structures, rural rodent pressure, steel answers.

Fallbrook

Avocado country — groves feed roof-rat populations, so exclusion and attic restoration lead the work here.

Pala Mesa

Golf-course community in North County heat; insulation depth and duct condition drive the cooling bills.

Ramona

Hot backcountry valley of ranch properties — field rodents and summer heat set a clear two-part scope.

San Ysidro

Older compact homes near the border; aging attics respond well to sealing plus right-sized re-insulation.

Jamul

Rural East County hills with constant wildlife pressure — steel exclusion is the non-negotiable first step.

Every San Diego County community above is inside the areas we service — tap a name for street-level detail.

Areas we service

Southwest Riverside County

Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, and their neighbors sit in true inland heat — summer attics that hold triple-digit air well after sunset. In these areas we service the levers are insulation depth to the R-38–R-49 band, air sealing, and duct integrity, with rodent proofing close behind as development pushes into open country.

Growth is the second story here: new construction pushes into open country, and the displaced field rodents follow the utility lines straight into the newest attics. Steel exclusion on day one is cheaper than restoration in year three — and the free inspection will tell you honestly which situation your house is in.

Temecula

1990s–2000s master-planned homes at the edge of wine country — builder-grade attics meeting serious inland heat.

Murrieta

Boom-era housing now 20–30 years old; original insulation and flex ducts are due for honest evaluation.

Menifee

Rapid-growth city around the old Sun City core — new builds need sealing, originals need everything.

Sun City

1960s retirement-community originals — many attics still carry first-generation insulation in triple-digit heat.

Wildomar

Semi-rural pockets beside newer tracts; scopes here split between exclusion and insulation depth.

Canyon Lake

Gated 1970s–80s lake community — original attic systems plus waterside rodent pressure.

Lake Elsinore

Historic lakeside blocks and new hillside tracts — two housing eras, one inland heat problem.

Perris

Hot inland valley with mixed-age homes; insulation depth and duct sealing decide the summer here.

Hemet

Large 1960s–80s housing stock in one of the region’s hottest valleys — the strongest re-insulation case on the map.

Every Southwest Riverside County community above is inside the areas we service — tap a name for street-level detail.

Areas we service

South Orange County

From San Clemente and Dana Point on the water to Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, and the canyon communities inland, South Orange County mixes coastal moisture with hillside rodent pressure. The areas we service here get the same doctrine: steel-backed exclusion, sanitization where evidence exists, and insulation matched to the micro-climate.

Canyon-edge communities like Trabuco Canyon and Coto de Caza add a third pressure: hillside wildlife with year-round attic ambitions. Scopes there weight exclusion and sanitization heavily, while the coastal side of the county weights moisture control — one county, two playbooks, chosen by evidence.

Mission Viejo

One of America’s original master-planned cities — 1960s–80s homes whose first insulation is far past due.

San Clemente

Spanish-style coastal homes in daily marine air; moisture control and sealed crawl spaces protect the originals.

Aliso Viejo

1990s planned city — builder-grade attics now old enough for depth checks and duct sealing.

Laguna Niguel

1980s–90s hillside homes where canyon wildlife meets aging builder insulation.

Lake Forest

1970s–80s neighborhoods against canyon edges — exclusion and re-insulation travel together here.

Ladera Ranch

2000s master-planned community — preventive sealing and ventilation keep newer attics on spec.

Coto de Caza

Gated canyon estates with year-round wildlife pressure — large custom attics, point-by-point steel exclusion.

Rancho Santa Margarita

1990s planned city at the foot of the Santa Anas — canyon rodent pressure meets aging builder attics.

Trabuco Canyon

True canyon country — wildlife exclusion in steel is step one on nearly every structure.

Dana Point

Harbor-town marine air every day of the year — vapor control, sealed vents, and corrosion-resistant materials.

Every South Orange County community above is inside the areas we service — tap a name for street-level detail.

Coastal vs. inland

Two climates, one standard.

California draws the line for us: under Title 24, our counties span coastal and inland climate zones, and the prescriptive insulation targets differ with them. Coastal communities in the areas we service battle marine-layer moisture — vapor barriers, sealed crawl space penetrations, and corrosion-resistant steel. Inland communities battle heat — attic temperatures past 130°F, which is where full-depth insulation, ventilation, and duct insulation pay for themselves on the cooling bills. The inspection tells us which fight your house is in; the scope follows the evidence, and ENERGY STAR guidance on sealing and insulating backs every recommendation. Two climates, one crew, all the areas we service.

Service area FAQs

Quick answers about the areas we service.

The six questions every caller asks about coverage — and 166 more answers on the full FAQs page.

Which areas do you service?
All of San Diego County, Southwest Riverside County, and South Orange County — 70+ communities, every one listed above with its own dedicated page. If your city is not on the map, call anyway: coverage is drawn by drive time from Escondido, not hard lines.
Do you charge more for farther cities?
No travel fees inside the areas we service. The scope is priced by the work in the attic or crawl space, not the miles on the truck — distance is our cost of doing business honestly, not a line item on your paperwork. The free inspection is free in Hemet exactly as it is in Escondido.
Are the areas we service all handled by the same crew?
Yes — one family-operated crew, one doctrine, everywhere on this map. We do not sell jobs in outlying cities and subcontract them out to whoever answers the phone that week; that model is exactly how quality dies at the edge of a service map. The technicians photographed on your scope are the technicians on your roof, whether the address is two miles from headquarters or fifty.
Is my city's page different from this one?
Each community page speaks to that area's housing stock and climate pressure — coastal moisture, inland heat, hillside rodent pressure — and connects to the same services and FAQs. The doctrine never changes between pages; the emphasis does, because a beach bungalow and a valley ranch house fail in different ways. Start there for local detail; start here for the whole map.
How fast can you get to my area?
Most communities in the areas we service are inside a same-week inspection window, and active rodent situations are triaged first. Booking an inspection online or by phone gets you the next available slot for your part of the map.
What if I'm just outside the areas we service?
Call us. Edge-of-map addresses are decided by drive time and schedule, not a hard border — and if we truly cannot serve you well, we say so and point you to how to vet a local contractor instead of stretching.

We did thorough home work prior to hiring Attic Shield for the installation of insulation in our historic La Mesa home. The following are the factors that led to them winning the contract: 1. Elliot, the owner does the inspection and quoting. He did a thorough job in explaining the different material choices, pricing, and their process. 2. Their price was fair. On the day of the job, the crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. They did a diligent job. We noticed immediate effects of the insulation as the AC no longer works as hard. We highly recommend Attic Shield!

Living in a house that was a super-cheap flip, with tons of gaps, terrible insulation, and some mice that decided they lived here. Elliot was out here within a couple of days, did a thorough inspection, explained everything, and gave us a very, very fair quote on a package that included an attic fan, removal of existing insulation, sanitization, sealing of all gaps, air duct rerouting, and duct cleaning. The crew came out the next morning and you couldn't have asked for anyone more considerate and helpful. They even turned the duct vacuum machine back on so I could take a video for my family (it was super-cool--seriously). They did a TON of work and left the place as clean as when they walked in. I got a follow-up call from Elliot about an hour later, and I feel absolutely comfortable that they will take care of any issues if we discover any after the fact. 10/10 would recommend all day long.

Elliott did not try to "sell up". I had only about 3" of insulation in my attic. Elliott suggested they simply blow-in the necessary fiberglass insulation to bring it up to code. With no signs of pests (other vendors told me the same, so I know it's true) he didn't think it was necessary to remove the old insulation and sanitize. This saved me a lot of money. Of course they sealed all cracks, openings, can lights, etc. Hopefully this will do the trick to keep my house cool. The Attic Shield team, from Christina in the office, to the techs Cesar & Sergio who braved the heat, were very nice, respectful, and cleaned up afterwards. They deserved the morning Starbucks run I bought them. Thanks Elliott and team for doing a good job!

Elliot was so wonderful to work with. I had received many quotes regarding the attic work. He was quite genuine and knowledgeable and was not upselling me in any way. I found his assessment of the work need for the attic to be comprehensive, meticulous and also very competitively priced. The techinicians arrived the following week, led by Josh. The guys were super professiona. They enclosed the area around the attic, there was no debris or dust after they cleaned out the attic and insulated it. I asked for a few adjustments and Josh was more than gracious. I highly recommend them and I am very grateful for their work.

We recently hired this company for attic cleaning because we had lots of rodent and had a really positive experience. The crew arrived on time, worked hard, and were very professional throughout the entire process. They cleaned and sanitized everything thoroughly, explained and took pictures what they were doing, and left the area much cleaner than we expected. The team was respectful, efficient, and easy to work with. We really appreciated their attention to detail and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing attic cleaning services.

We recently had our attic cleaned, duct pipes wrapped and some exhaust piping replaced. Once complete, insulation and batting was added. The job results are exceptional and the two attic areas look very clean and organized. I highly recommend Attic Shield for all your attic needs! The house will be quiet and efficient!

We’re extremely happy with the attic work Attic Shield completed. Elliot did a full inspection and clearly explained what was going on up there, including areas that needed sealing and improvement. They sealed all gaps and entry points, addressed past rodent issues, and made sure everything was properly protected. The insulation work was done carefully and evenly, and they took the time to clean and sanitize the attic before finishing. After everything was completed, our home felt noticeably more comfortable and consistent in temperature. The crew was professional, respectful, and very detail-oriented. This is the kind of quality work you hope for when hiring a contractor.

Amazing experience with AtticShield, from start to finish, it was so seamless and simple, I needed assistance with some insulation and rodent prevention, and they came, assessed the situation and provided a phenomenal quote and completed the work within 3 hours! Install or Upgrade Blown-In Insulation I recently used AtticShield for a rental property of mine and they were nothing short of fantastic. From the prompt response to them showing up and assessing the home, it was so simple. They did not only a thorough job of explaining the situation to me, showing me pictures and videos but explaining why some items should be done and others aren?t needed. The price was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I received. They kept my house very clean and protected during the overall process. I am really happy with the results, thank you AtticShield.

******* and his team came out and did a great job! They removed our old insulation and installed new blown-in insulation. Not only is the house quieter and more comfortable, but weve noticed a big improvement in the overall indoor air quality. I really appreciated the fact that the crew was respectful of our home. They worked hard and got the project done in 1 day.

I had a great experience from start to finish with Attic Shield. ******* called to check in and see how you were doing after the service. My family and I noticed a huge difference with the air conditioning holding the indoor temp cooler especially during these warmer summer days. Thanks again *******.

Install or Upgrade Batt, Rolled or Reflective Insulation I had an amazing experience with Attic Shield. From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, the team was incredibly professional, punctual and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, provided a fair and transparent estimate, and delivered exactly what they promised. I was impressed with the crew as they arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left the workplace spotless. They removed the old insulation, sanitized the attic, sealed up air leaks, and installed insulation that made an immediate difference in our home?s comfort and energy bills, especially during these warmer days. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to improve their home?s insulation. You won?t be disappointed!

I was impressed I was with the work completed by Attic Shield. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Even though the company is relatively new, they clearly know their stuff. Justin led the crew and was incredibly courteous, communicative, and knowledgeable throughout the process. They walked me through each step, kept me updated, and made the whole thing stress-free. I appreciated receiving clear before-and-after photos, which gave me full confidence in the quality of their work. Everything was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. This team may be new, but they operate like seasoned pros. They?re organized, take pride in what they do, and they do great work.
